Azaan Institute presents a new PowerTalk “Unshackled” by Sister Bela Khan.
This course is designed to equip people with basic knowledge of depression, the measures that can be taken to ensure its prevention, and techniques to implement for those who are already battling this elephant in the room.
As the rate of depression is rising at an alarming rate, it is the need of the hour to create a course that can give the understanding of depression to common people and effective tools to fight when/if it hits. Depression can have wide-ranging effects and identifying them early can be life-saving. This course is designed to equip people with basic knowledge of depression, the measures that can be taken to ensure its prevention, and techniques to implement for those who are already battling this elephant in the room.

1. Sr. Bela Khan holds a Master degree in Psychology and many certifications in the field of personal development, parenting, relationships, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
2.She is serving as Senior Lecturer of Psychology at IOU.
3. Holds her diplomas in Quranic Tafseer and Hadith. Therefore, she loves combining the concepts of Psychology with the Divine Principles of Islam.
4. She is a Life Coach, author of two books and a Homeschooling Mom, and delivers various training in the field of personal development, relationships & life coaching.
5. Loves Working with women and teenage girls to overcome their depression and healing their emotional self through holistic approach, is her expertise
