Nickelodeon Presents: Storytime Live! Is a theatrical performance featuring four stories, one based on Dora the Explorer. Its plot borrows from the episode " Dora's Fairytale Adventure". It began touring the United States in 2010. Nickelodeon presents their newest, biggest, most exciting live show ever – "Storytime Live!" Do you know who Kai-lan's favorite superhero is? It's the Monkey King! Kai-Lan and her friends are throwing a party in their playhouse to celebrate. While outside, Kai-Lan helps a beetle in need, but is surprised when the beetle transforms into the Monkey King, who invites Kai-Lan and friends to help invite his panda friends to his royal tea party!
In "The Backyardigans," Robin Hood the Clean (Pablo) tries to free the villagers of Filthingham from the rule of Mayor Austin Stinkypants while dancing to Countrypolitan music.
Ollie the Bunny hosts a party in Wonderland in "Wonder Pets," but forgets to invite the guests. Linny, Tuck, and Ming-Ming must help Ollie track down the Mad Hatter and invite everyone to the party. Along the way, they face various challenges.
In "Dora the Explorer," Dora and Boots explore Fairytale Land, but Boots falls under a spell by a mean witch and falls asleep. Dora must become a true princess to awaken Boots before the last leaf falls, or he will be stuck in a permanent sleep. Can the viewer help her become Princess Dora?

- The stories are based off an episode of each series.
- The Ni Hao, Kai-Lan story is based on the episode Journey to Monkey King Castle.
- The Backyardigans story is based on the episode Robin Hood the Clean.
- The Wonder Pets story is based on the episode Adventures in Wonderland!
- The Dora the Explorer story is based on the episode Dora's Fairytale Adventure.
- Speaking of which, the episodes that the Ni Hao, Kai-Lan and Wonder Pets stories are based off of haven't premiered prior to the live show.
- There are some differences from the live show to the Dora's Fairytale Adventure episode:
- Dora has to pass three tests in the live show, while in the episode, she had to pass four.
- The prince, while under the dragon spell, was sleeping as Dora approached the Dragon's Cave. In the episode, he was eating a bowl of spaghetti.
- Swiper appears in the live show attempting to swipe the music box, while in the episode, he's absent.
- The Swiping Disorder is different from the TV show:
- The character simply steals stuff and does not throw it.
- "(character), no swiping!" is said once or twice by itself, with Dora telling the viewer to say it counting as the first time.
- Like the 2009 version of Dora the Explorer Live! Search For The City of Lost Toys (US only), Map is referred as a female compared to the actual series where he's referred as a male.
