Moonquake is the second studio album by Wild Wes. It was released on January 8th of 2021. The album was Wes' first release by Flex Entertainment after he got kicked and was brung back into the label again.
Background[ edit]
A week after Wild Wes released Flood Warning, he revealed the cover art for the lead single for the album, Wanakin Weswalker.
The album is going to have a Die Lit feel to it.
Wild Wes also revealed on Twitter, on November 6th of 2020, that there would be a majority of tracks from the Get Lit Stay Lit mixtape on Moonquake.
The album was made on a $0 budget, Wild Wes made this album to improve even more from his debut album, Flood Warning, and his second mixtape, Get Lit Stay Lit. Which both released the same year, in 2020.
Wild Wes took more time to record this project then it took him to record any other project as he said on the introduction to the album.
Wild Wes wanted to bring in lots of features so that the album has more variety.
Wes also took in consideration to lengthen the tracks on the album, a small portion of this album is short.
After Chameleon released, Wild Wes said that he'd go on a quick break.
Wild Wes revealed on Twitter, as well as posting the cover art, that the album would be released on February 5th of 2021, the same release date Wild Wes planned for GLSL to release.
When Dummo released, Wild Wes told his fans on Twitter that the album was ready to drop and told everyone to get ready for the Moonquake.

Wild Wes got the inspiration from this album from Pi'erre Bourne's The Life of Pierre 4.
The album is a tad bit lengthier then his other projects.
Singles[ edit]
Wild Wes announced on Twitter that Wanakin Weswalker would drop on August 7th of 2020. Wanakin Weswalker would become the lead single for the album.
Mona Lisa, which featured Flex Entertainment artist Lil Toy Yoda, was released on September 4th of 2020.
Wack 2020 Freestyle, which was released to be bad, was released on September 10th of 2020.
Money Bags was released on September 25th of 2020.
Chameleon was released on October 9th 2020.
Billions, which featured another Flex Entertainment artist, Lil Squeaky, was released on October 23rd of 2020
Dummo was released on November 6th of 2020
Freezer was released on November 20th of 2020
Blew Racks, which featured Young Seagull, the last single, would release on January 1st of 2021.
Wild Wes also released the music video for Wanakin Weswalker on September 18th of 2020.
Delay[ edit]
Wild Wes recorded 16 tracks for the mixtape, Get Lit Stay Lit, which was never released, which also was going to be the album. Moonquake ended up being delayed due to the decision of adding more tracks to the album as well as never releasing Get Lit Stay Lit.
