ISD1820 and Memory

Quick question;

Does the ISD1820 Voice Recording Module save what you have recorded if the power is shut off?
I've looked everywhere and can't find the answer.
The one I have doesn't but I want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.
Has anyone here used one?
