Search Engine Optimization or in short “SEO” is what companies do in-order to be ranked higher on search engines such as Google and to gain more traffic to to the website.

Types of SEO available
- On-page SEO: This is the most common type of SEO which utilizes keywords, content which are of quality and tags for HTML
- Off-page SEO: By utilizing other websites to link to the site which you are optimizing. For example, using social media and getting people to review your business on forums, which will in-turn link to your page
- Technical SEO: By improving the performance of the site which includes the structure, UX and security. An example of it is by making the site friendly for mobile users is a way of boosting the rank on the particular search engine
The above three are the core of SEOs and there are still many other types of SEO available depending on how big of a reachability the company is aiming to achieve and through many other ways as well.
