Located on the verdant banks of the Goulburn River in Nagambie, the Mitchelton experience begins once you enter the main gates, with rows of nurtured vineyards welcoming you on your journey along the driveway.

Be greeted by welcoming vines, before taking a seated tasting and guided education of select, current release Mitchelton and Preece wines. Learn about the Estate’s 50-year history and the stories behind the iconic Tower from our team of passionate wine ambassadors in a modern and comfortable setting. Our back vintage museum wines, hampers, gifts and merchandise offer an additional opportunity to take home something special from your visit, other than your favourite bottle of wine.

Our winemaking is the essence of any Mitchelton experience. Our premium range of Mitchelton wines are traditional in style and crafted from our Nagambie or Heathcote estate owned vineyards. These intense, elegant and distinctive wines are true to region, vintage and variety. The luxury wines from our Toolleen vineyard in Heathcote, occupy a unique parcel of Cambrian soil in which Shiraz vines thrive, producing fruit of incomparable quality in limited parcels, while The Bend wines showcase those everyday varietals for relaxed, casual entertaining.

Mitchelton is proud to release the Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi Collection, a selection of premium wines showcasing the work of leading Indigenous artist, Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi.

Situated behind the picturesque Goulburn River precinct near Nagambie, Mitchelton is home to Australia’s largest commercial Aboriginal art gallery, The Mitchelton Gallery of Aboriginal Art, which currently features Gabriella’s works.

Gabriella’s paintings have continued to be the most popular at the Gallery, the works are known for their magnificent use of colour and exquisite use of traditional Aboriginal iconography. Gabriella is excited to share her art with as many people as possible, teaching people to understand what we have, where we come from and how all these stories are connected together.
