A walker鈥檚 dream, Shoreline Park is a 14.6-acre coastal bluff park adjacent to Leadbetter Beach. It鈥檚 a long grassy stretch with paved walking paths offering spectacular city, mountain, and ocean views. Stand next to the bronze whale tail and see if you can spot a whale in the channel through the built-in binoculars. This family-friendly park also has two restrooms, picnic tables, barbecues, and benches. It also has several group picnic areas that are reservable for private events. In the middle of the park is a popular playground with a sandy bottom and, in addition to a play structure, fun features like an oversized turtle and dolphin.

There is beach access through Torii Gate that takes you down Shoreline Park Staircase to the beach below. Exit the park out the eastside of the park and there鈥檚 a walkway down to Leadbetter beach below.

There are two parking lots in the park, and plenty of parking on nearby neighborhood streets. Dogs are allowed on-leash at Shoreline Park, and off-leash on the beach west of Shoreline Park Staircase. Alcohol is prohibited.
