"Home is regarded as the ninth neighbor, but seemingly cannot speak as illustrations show Home speaking only in onomatopoeias (Creak, Squeak, Bang.) Sources say, however, that this puppet’s eyes could move through a hand crank on the other side of the prop facing away from the camera. Additionally, its doors, chimney, and windows were supposedly very animated during episodes. It is implied that Home is the most lively house within the neighborhood, as none of the other houses seem to have eyes."
Appearance
Home is depicted as a cartoonish house with red walls and a blue roof. Home has a yellow chimney with a red pattern on the base of the chimney. Home has two windows on the sides of its body, and also two windows in the front. The front windows have large eyes in them, and also have blue patterns on the bottom that resemble tears or eyelashes. Home has a yellow door with a blue rim on its front as well.

Home compensates his limited movements and lack of limbs and speech abilities with his high intellect. Home is able to finds alternative ways to communicate with the other neighbors, even learning and using morse code if necessary. [3] Home is also the best chess player in the town. [4]
Relationships
Wally Darling
Home was Wally's house and close friend. Home and Wally share a character page on the website, and share similar interests, including their favorite color.
Wally also serves as a caretaker for Home, helping it wipe its tears, [5] bringing it gifts, [6] writing for it, [7] [8] [4] and playing games and conducting activities nearby so Home can participate as well and invite other neighbors to visit Home. He often paints with the canvas facing Home so that she may see. [9] [10]
Though Home only speaks in onomatopoeias, Wally seems to understand it with little to no effort, and talks, even sings to Home from time to time. [11] [12]
Wally blows kisses to Home every day before he leaves and every time he returns to it. Home hugs him back by squeezing him between the door and the door frame. [13]
Just like with Barnaby, Home makes sounds in what seems to be concern when Wally doesn't react in the last secret video hidden in the website.
Barnaby B. Beagle
Since Barnaby spent most of his time with Wally, he also spent a considerable amount of time with Home, and enjoyed their conversations.
Barnaby would engage with Home as he would any other Neighbor, laughing and riffing jokes with her. Home would react actively by moving, opening and closing its doors and windows to imitate speech and laughter. Barnaby, just like Wally, seemed to understand Home with ease, including tonal expressions of emotion, and agreement and disagreement.
Frank Frankly
Like the other neighbors, Frank tried to include Home in their games and activities too, and visited them from time to time, since Home can't move on their own. Frank always had him in mind so Home wouldn't feel left out from the group. Frank also liked playing chess with Home, even if Frank always lost against it. [10]
Julie Joyful
Julie occasionally Include Home in their games and visited him often, so Home didn't felt excluded from the group. Julie always tried for Home to participate in their own way, like teaching Home how to hula hoop with its door knob. [9]
Eddie Dear
Eddie also tried to give his time to Home and always made small talks with him. [9]
You
Alongside Wally, Home seems to also know about you and even talks directly to you when Wally presented him to you. Home knows that you are a human and not a puppet like the other neighbors, so instead of using cartoon house noises, they try to imitate some language you could understand instead, this one being morse code. For now, the only word they've spelt directly to you is "Hello", which makes quite unclear his real feelings about you, but as of now, she seems to accept you and doesn't mind Wally talking to you.

Trivia
Home, though referred to as "the ninth neighbor", is the only neighbor without their own introductory page. Instead, Home's introduction is a part of Wally's page.
The town where the events of Welcome Home take place is also called "Home".
Home was first conceptualized in March 2018. [14]
Clown would love to create merchandise of Home in the future. [15]
Even if Home wasn't included in this post by Clown, it can be assumed that Home's favorite color is red because of this and this banner, where Home's background is red. This would make Wally and Home the only characters to share a favorite color in the neighborhood.
However, Home was represented with the color white in the safe hidden in the " password-please" page instead.
While at first Home's pronouns were revealed to be (He/They/It) [16], Clown later referred to Home as "she" in two post. [1] [17] In the comments below those post, when asked about it, Clown confirmed that this was done on purpose and that Home now uses any pronouns.
