What is DIN536

DIN536 is the German standard for crane rails. The rail models under this standard are A45, A55, A65, A75, A100, A120, and A150. DIN536 crane rail is a very widely used rail type standard. In various factory workshops, as well as port terminals. DIN536 crane rails can be used for light equipment to medium and large heavy equipment.

GloryRail can supply crane rails to DIN536 standard. At the same time, for the DIN536 rail, GloryRail provides installation solutions and installation accessories. Matching rail press, rubber backing plate, fasteners.

Dimensions,  section parameters and steel grades

1 Scope and field of application

This standard specifies requirements for hot-rolled crane rails with a flat bottom(type A). with dimensions specified in table 1 and made from steel with properties specified in clause 4.

2 Dimensions and designation

2.1 Designation

Designation of a flat bottom crane rail(type A) complying with this standard, with a head with. k, of 100mm(A100) and made form steel with a minimum tensile strength of 690 N/mm2.

2.2 Dimensions and tolerence

2.2.1 Crane rails shall be of the size and be subject to limit deviations and geometrical tolerances specified in table1. any values for which no tolerance is specified shall be regarded as approximate values.

2.2.2 the tolerance on the symmetry of this head, t1, shall be established for two parallel surfaces at distance of t1 from each other, the reference plane being that at the centre of the head, which is equal to b1.

2 Mass and section parameters
