Jeon Jong Seo Signs Contract With An American Agency
Going by the international name of Rachel Jun, Jeong Jong Seo is ready to conquer Hollywood!
South Korean actress, Jeon Jong Seo, is slowly penetrating the world of Hollywood after recently signing a contract with the American agency, United Talent Agency (UTA). The talented actress announced this exciting news on May 4 through her South Korean agency, My Company. Her official international name will be Rachel Jun.
Jeon Jong Seo asked her fans for their support as she ventures towards uncharted territory. “I plan to continue my acting activities in Hollywood as well as in Korea. I ask for a lot of interest and love.”
UTA is home to some of the most illustrious names in Hollywood. It houses amazing talents such as Charlize Theron, Wes Anderson, and Jessica Alba. Recently, one of its prized artists, Anthony Hopkins, received the Best Actor honor in the 2021 Film Academy Awards.
Jeon Jong Seo’s Impressive Resume
Jeong Jong Seo has been slowly building her reputation since her debut. Taking on some of the most challenging and bizarre roles in films is nothing new to her. One of her most notable projects is the highly acclaimed movie, Burning. Her role as a free-spirited young lady who disappeared without a trace gave her the chance to walk along the red carpet of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
Last year, she portrayed the character of a lunatic woman in the time-traveling mystery thriller film, The Call. Her outstanding performance has earned her a Baeksang Awards Best Actress nomination for this year.
With several projects underway, the actress couldn’t be more thankful for her flourishing career. Her upcoming movie, with a tentative title of Woo Ri, Ja Young (우리, 자영), is slated for release in the latter part of 2021. To cap off her recent achievements, she will star as the female protagonist in the Korean remake of Money Heist.
Jeon Jong Seo’s maiden Hollywood presence will be on the upcoming psychological thriller titled Monalisa and the Blood Moon.
