Not to be confused with Atrocity from Bamberg, Bavaria (changed their name to Atrocity Exhibition).
The band originally played grindcore under the name Instigator. Upon changing their name to Atrocity, they changed to a death metal sound, as heard in 1990's Hallucinations and 1992's Todessehnsucht. On the 1994 album Blut, they started to incorporate influences from ...
